Buying property in Jordan

Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in Jordan?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in Jordan?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

Hi Christine. As far as I know, yes foreigners can buy property in Jordan but it has to be  within any city or town and it just takes 2 weeks for getting an approval.  Your best bit is to go to a well know realstate agency for best advice.

For an apartment option it is smooth and can be finalized within one week or so through the real estate department. As for a plot of land it takes three to four weeks.
