Teaching and life

Akjoe

Good day
I would like to know more about the income of a school teacher and cost of living in Bahrain. I would also like to know about the cost of living for a family of 7 in Bahrain. I have a lot of questions. Hope you guys don't mind. Lifestyle, university and costs, type of people, work environment in a school, South African teachers and other nationalities, etc

As a first step, I would suggest that you search the threads on this forum.  There are dozens and dozens about the above topics.  I have commented on many myself.

Then as a second step, you can ask specific questions and we can try to help.

Just a broad stroke generic question doesn't leave anyone with anyplace to start from.

Thank you for the response. I am a South African school teacher of english and various subjects. What are the job opportunities and salary package in Bahrain?

Bahrain does not follow a standard salary procedure depends on company to company. Below are few links which should give you an idea about the cost of living

You could start by visiting our classifieds sections

Apart from that you could visit the various job portals and register with them like Monstergulf, bayt, naukri, gulfconnexions or go through the daily news paper classifieds section (http://www.gdnmarketplace.com/category/jobs/)

LinkedIn would also be a good platform to start with.

good luck.

from my experience, Bahrain people ( Local and expats) are so friendly and helpful in comparison of others GCC countries. To me, their ethics in treatment is best !
