Is $7000 (USD) a fair salary in Bahrain.

I am considering a proposition to shift to Bahrain, the offer is USD 7000 per month + benefits. I have asked for more details about the benefits. We are a three member family consisting of my wife, my son who is studying abroad and myself.
We would like to lead an upper middle class life, do let me know the savings potential if any with the offer that has been made.
Please help me know about the rentals, Car and other expenses etc in Bahrain.

7000USD is approximately 2600BHD.
