The more the merrier. Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else
Jo
Hi All,
So far I have 44 names on my list for the Dilmun Club Meeting which is fantastic, I have counted everyone that has commented on here and also the people who have sent me private messages.
If I haven't personally replied to you apologies but your name will be on the list so don't worry.
If anyone is bringing friends and haven't yet told me can you please message me so their names can be added.
The more people that come the merrier it will be.
I look forward to seeing everyone there. If you need transport then post on here your location and mobile number so people can get in touch with you to offer lifts. Taxi's are also pretty cheap, especially if you share.
Link to the club is http://www.dilmun-club.com/contact.htm and there is a map and contact details on their website.
Any questions then feel free to email me.
Jo
Hi Everyone. The Dilmun club have just called me and have said that they are going to be charging 1BD entrance fee for all expat party people. This is not a lot of money but I just wanted you to be aware
Dear Jo,
1BD is not a big amount.
there is always and equal and opposite reaction
so if they take 1BD what do we get:lol:
thanx for the info
looking forward for the meet
regards

You get entrance into a club that normally charges 2BD :-)
You also will get to meet a lot of new friendly people and get to see Jo's amazing hosting skills

You crack me up
brightonguy wrote:I wasn't lying though was I?
Of course you weren't lol. Just hope as many people turn up that have said they will.
Zahid.Ansari wrote:ppl who come will surely enjoy
and ppl who miss this time will surely come in our next meet
I think next time we have to go somewhere new. Dilmun Club twice is enough.
Maybe people can come up with suggestions??
Jo - How many do we have on our list till now?
haseebahm wrote:Jo - How many do we have on our list till now?
50 so far. Last time it was 50 but only 30 turned up
Great! I'm feeling that the turn up will be even better this time.
Hi Everyone.
I am getting the list of names finalised and sent to the Dilmun today. If anyone who hasn't put their name on the list who wishes to come can you please let me know asap.
Also - If you have put your name on the list and can no longer come please also let me know.
Really looking forward to Thursday night although for me it will also be a very sad day as we have to say a very sad farewell to a valued friend and a very active member of this forum - Vido Dido (Abdalla) He is moving to adventures know but I hope in my heart that we get to see him again sometime soon :-)

Cannot find any words to say other than that I have been blessed having such great friends in my life during my stay in Bahrain, and for sure will keep in touch and will keep jumping to Bahrain for a visit from time to time.
Will keep an eye open on the get-together meetings, and will try to join where possible to see all of my good friends in Bahrain.
