Car Authorization to Saudi Iqama holder

Remoteworker113

Hi,

My brother (a Saudi Iqama holder with a Saudi driving license) is buying a car from me (Bahraini CPR holder). Can I authorize him to drive the car without having to transfer it to his name? He intends to drive mostly in Saudi with frequent visits to Bahrain. What are the necessary authorizations/arragnements that are needed to be done? I know that you have to authorize the car to be taken from causeway, is there anything else required?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Authorization online is done only for Bahrain CPR holders.  You can't sell and transfer the car to him.  You have to export it from Bahrain and he has to import it to Saudi.
