Pregnancy in Skane

Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in Skane?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Skane?

Thanks a lot in advance for your advice !

Hi Christine

I had both of my children in Skåne, one in Malmö and one in Lund.

I didn't get a choice of which hospital I would give birth in, it was pretty much the nearest hospital to me. Likewise, with the midwives, they were just the nearest.

For every day things such as routine checks, a midwife will see you. I only once saw an gynaecologist/obstetrician and that was when I was having some pain with my first. There was no GYN/OB presence in either of my labours, either.

Out of the two, I can't really report a great deal of difference although I think that I slightly preferred Malmö. The after care seemed better, too.

Hope this has helped, even just a little :)
