Do dealerships offer "Authorized Used Cars"?

Also, our experience is fluency in Spanish (which we are not) is required to deal with these dealerships (New and Used).

Take along a friend who is fluent or at least fairly fluent. Never sign anything unless you are clear about what you are purchasing.
There will no doubt be English speaking dealers dotted around. But will they sell new or KM0 cars?

Hi, I recognise the problem.

Buying a car was one of the trickier things we did when we arrived in Valencia. The dealers didn’t appear to take our emails seriously. Maybe they think you will not have NIE.

My advice would be to turn up at the main VW dealer in Valencia (there is a big one on Av Del Cid) and ask for an English speaker. Our experience is that these big dealers will have English speakers. Next door is a SEAT dealer and they do have people who can help you. Both have a stock of new and nearly new cars. We had a golf in the UK and bought a Seat Leon here (and are happy with it).

I get the feeling you have not found out about the way Spanish like to undertake business. Face to face is always the way I have found works  very well.

Yes, I completely agree. People think you will not buy from them unless there is a relationship. Very different from northern Europe or the USA.

Nothing to do with a relationship between purchaser and seller.
Just face to face both parties  have to interact..

Even when I bought my cars in the UK, I never Emailed the dealership. If I had any questions I would call them, like after seeing the car advertised was it still available. But most of the time I would just turn up.

As for the OP, Ex demonstrators are perfectly fine, they are in fact "run in".

I had friend who having passed his driving test, so had become an expert, bought a car with one previous,  careful woman,  driver.   However, I recognised the car as one form a local driving school.
