Best route from Calais to Benidorm

Hi I am setting off Friday ... Can anyone advise the best route from Calais to Benidorm? We would like to stop off for 1 night has anyone any recommendations where to stop off?

Hi Bernie
We are doing the same trip in January although we will take a little longer.
Our route takes from Calais to Tours for an overnight stop, then on to Guerthary for another stop, then carry on down to Benidorm.

Hope this helps.
I'm sure others have different routes, but we're in no rush and wanted to avoid Paris
