Dangerous dogs rules!

Hi! New member! Considering a full time permanent move to Spain, likely Almeria, in the future and have done a lot of research into moving abroad with dogs...there's a lot of conflicting and confusing information out there! I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and an American Bulldog, both of which would appear to be highly undesirable to the Spanish authorities!! Staffies are definitely on the list and the Am Bull would probably qualify due to his size and physical characteristics? Are they actually banned from entry to live there as permanent resident dogs or is it merely that the strict rules mentioned must be complied with? I also ask if the health certificate, which appears has to be completed by a UK vet prior to travel has to be actually translated into Spanish, and, if so, can you pay a translator over here or must it be done by someone officially nominated by the Spanish?? I understand microchips must be ISO compliant etc and one must have the third party liability insurance cover for over 175000 euro in Andalusia but must they also be neutered? Both my boys are entire males and I'm not keen on them having to have such surgery. I realise they can only be walked one at a time, on a short leash and always muzzled in public. Has anyone here accomplished such a move abroad with potentially dangerous dog breeds, notably post Brexit and, if so, it is simple enough to achieve or fraught with problems on arrival? Also, if you can live with these dogs in Spain, how do the locals react to them in general? My biggest fear would be to have an issue at an airport or port and would be absolutely heartbroken if they were confiscated and destroyed. I've heard some horror stories so am reaching out to the ex pat community who may be able to answer these questions! Thank you for your time and advice in advance!
