Help renting a house for 3 months

How can I rent a house in Rincon de la Victoria or Costa del Sol for 3 (July, August & Sept.) without resorting to AirBnB or VRBO? I can’t afford 3,000 Euros or more per month. The inmobiliarias I have contacted either ether don’t pick up the phone or do not respond to messages, the owners either. I wonder what you do to find a longer short-term rental. Any ideas? Thanks

The reason inmobiliarias (real estate agencies) and owners aren't responding to your calls or messages is that July and August are peak vacation months. Traditional agencies focus on 12-month long-term rentals (larga temporada). When they see a request for July–September, they assume you want a standard holiday rental, which usually commands €1,500 to €2,500 per week during high season, quickly exceeding your monthly budget. Furthermore, many small agencies close entirely or cut their hours drastically in August.

Are you writting the Emails in English or Spanish? If in English then they will definitely think you are a tourist.

Thank you for the reply. I am contacting them in Spanish, my mother tongue. I see listings that say they rent during the summer as well, but they don’t respond.  How could we find a place to live during that time that is affordable? I don’t have a millionaire’s budget. We will, simultaneously, continue to pay for our mortgage at home, utilities and more.

Tell them that you are noz a holiday maker, but a profesional worker.

@SimCityAT. Thank you! I will check those sites.
