can anyone tell me if they know a place that a passport number can be checked to see if it is real?

In Pipera where they issue Passports and driving licences.

well no i have not bought one someone i been talking with in romania is wanting me to help her with an invitation letter to come to usa and of course there are other details. i am just trying to verify the story by learning if the passport is real or i am getting involved in a scam

actually i am trying to find out if the girl i went to see in february in romania who i have been talking to and helping for a year now is telling me the truth about applying for her visa to come visit me. so the answer to your question is yes. she says she had her interview on the 7th of september last week actually. But the way she describes it to me is completely unlike any other interview i have heard of, she said they will get back to her in 10-15 days i asked if she gave them a prepaid courrier envelope so they can return her passport and visa she says no they did not ask. I know that there are changes being made but it just does not sit right with me. So if anyone can help i sure would appreciate it.

The envelope, as i know, it is from the embassy, and it is included in the price of the visa application. And yes, it takes about 2 weeks to process it. Hope this was helpful.

I am a british citizen originally from Afghanistan where I live with my family but I would like to move to Romania with them any1 can give me any advise or any help
