Hi All,
We are moving to Ovar. Anyone having a handyman, carpenter, electrician and painter referral we would sincerely appreciate hearing from you. We have some TLC to do.

For these "small" construction works, you can contact any Leroy Merlin shop. They have a contact list of professionals in different sectors.

For large works, the best way is to look for a work under construction near yours, and evaluate how they work, and thus get contractors contacts...

How do you like living in Ovar? We are planning on retiring there in a few year.

Bom Dia

It was a perfect choice for us. Looked in Gaia, Esphino to Aveiro. Nice quick train hop to day trips. Not a expat location or touristy.

Sorry to revive an old post, but found it because we are also planning to move to Ovar and I was trying to find info online. How are you liking it so far? We'll be there again this Sept and are planning to purchase a home next year. I hope it's been a great fit for you!
