Hi everyone,

I’m A. King, a Nigerian American filmmaker, cinematographer, and multimedia researcher currently living in Porto.

I moved to Portugal in 2025 to pursue a Master’s in Multimedia at the University of Porto. Like many people here, my move involved navigating visas, housing, paperwork, budgeting, and figuring out how to build a life in a new country.

My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, migration, technology, and community building. Alongside my film and research work, I’ve been building [link under review], a relocation planning tool inspired by my own experience moving abroad and the challenges many international students and migrants face.
