Timeline for Portugal Golden Visa Application and SEF appointment

Hey everyone, it seems there is very little visibility for applicants on when their applications might get approved and when they might get their biometric appointment. In case people here in this group have or are in the process of acquiring a golden visa, maybe we can collate our experiences to try to have general timeline. Maybe for those of us still waiting, we can get some sort of an idea on how much it is taking others, and try to see where they are at in the backlog. My family has submitted in December 2022 and still no application approval yet.

For the good of everyone, could you please share in this thread:

1) Date of application

2) Date of application approval

3) Date of biometric appointment

Also, if there is any other thread or website or community where Portuguese Golden visa applicants are active please let me know, or if someone is already collecting such information somewhere else online as well

Hi Jawad, Welcome.

This golden visa issue has already been widely discussed here on the forum (search facility available, top right corner). Until the restructuring of the SEF is finalised, which is scheduled for the end of this year, I doubt there will be any major developments.
