I am an Indian national currently working in Saudi Arabia. I applied for a Skilled Worker permit on 2025 October 13 from the VFS center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Abu Dhabi VFS Operations Center forwarded my application to the UDI, and I received my DUF number from the UDI on October 21. Twice every month, I receive an update from the UDI stating that my application is waiting to be processed.

I applied for a job as a Toyota car mechanic and hold a three-year diploma in Automobile Engineering. And I have 16 years of work experience.The salary offered by my Norwegian employer complies with the new regulations.

It has been almost four months since I applied.

Could you please tell me which month’s skilled worker applications the UDI is currently responding to?"

When checking the Norway UDI website, it normally says skilled worker visas can take up to two months, and skilled worker jobs requiring vocational certificates will take a bit longer for certificate verification from countries like India. However, it doesn't specify exactly how long it will take. Currently, which month's skilled worker visa applications is Norway UDI responding to? If I know this, I can plan my travels accordingly. It's been 4 months since I applied." 😊
