I want to visit my husband and apply for a visitor visa

GuestPoster2368

Good morning, how are you doing ?  I hope you're doing well ?  I need your help please!  Indeed, I am a married woman for 10 months to a Norwegian, after our marriage my husband came to Burkina 3 times to see me I am Burkinabe (23 years old) and he is Norwegian (37 years old), I wanted to go to Norway in July  to visit him because he won't be able to come see me so soon now and I wanted to apply for a visitor visa (I want to apply for a visitor visa) because I saw on the UDi sites that it takes 24 years to apply for a regrouping visa  family.  My question is how can I prove to the embassy that I will return to my home country and have a visa?  Because my husband is Norwegian and lives in Norway and I am a Burkinabe student and I plan to leave school this year?  Do I have any chance of getting a visitor visa for Norway?  thank you for helping me

Hello Flower,

You post has been moved since deserved to have its own thread.

I hope that you will obtain some information soon.

Have you tried contacting the UDI again?

@flower oumou Odg  Hi yes you can come to Norway if you and your husband is married already , you need to apply family reunification visa. Which takes months to be approved depends on the case. I took family reunification visa (fiance visa) and we got married here in Norway. Just read on the site for the checklist Udi.no
