Any sightings yet?

Last year it seemed like I couldn't turn a corner without bumping into Dominic Cooper and/or the crew of The Devils Double - a bit of a pain at times actually when I needed to be somewhere.

I know Brad Pitt isn't really an expat, but perhaps we could invite him along to a get together...anyone know where he's staying? (of course, under the assumed name of Mr. Smith).

i dont know where he is staying but i do know he has a booking of the whole restaurant at rebbekahs in mellieha....

Kids could still be here "Oscar-winning actress Jolie was expected to fly out of Malta last night, before returning to join her husband and children later in the week." from the article referenced at the top of this thread...but maybe there's an update.

altho it wouldnt make sense to travel so far with 6 kids and not stay more than a couple of days....

According to MaltaToday.com, they are staying at an 'unassuming, 18th century, square-shaped fortress' the Guarena Palace - which is located in Qrendi.

Pass on the url of this forum - perhaps we can get him posting in case he wants to know about the REAL Malta for expats. He he.

Well this morning when he was my the shower he shouted through to me 'hey baby, get them lot thinking im in Malta'!!!!!!!!!

They are putting up a street scene in St Dominic St. in lower Valletta off Republic St towards S. Elmo. They were covering the narrow street with colourful sheets yesterday. So I guess Brad will be showing up there sometime for a film shoot.

Back in Minnesota in June a few years ago I drove through my local shopping area as they were filming Jingle All The Way (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sinbad), but the scene was set as Christmas and so I had to drive through fake snow everywhere...surreal, esp. as in winter that place gets TONS of snow, but not in June (summer).

Then last year the bridge between Naxxar and Mosta was being used for a scene in The Devils Double and was supposed to be somewhere in Iraq - so they had covered all the road signs with road signs in Arabic...again very surreal...nearly got lost!
