@Julien

Good afternoon. My wife (65) and I (67) will be visiting Malta and Gozo on a weeklong tour in November. We've heard it is a great place to retire to. I am currently consulting with several companies in the renewable energy/energy storage areas and will likely continue to do so, at least initially. If we retire to Malta, we would also be bringing our mini Golden Doodle and cat. Based on our initial read of the areas, Gozo's slower pace makes it the more likely long-term destination. Politically, we are of the Progressive-Democrat variety. I say this as some expat communities can be somewhat insular, and I prefer to spend my sunset years amongst similar-minded people. Any advice to aid our decision-making, either before or during our visit, would be most welcome. Thanks, Chris

If you have any others question its best to start a new topic/thread off, just for a better interaction.
