My name is Pat, currently in South Africa. I would like to hear on experiences regarding the application of long stay join family visas, category B which is when you want  to join your spouse who is on a general work permit in Ireland.

Hello,


I intend to visit Ireland to visit a friend. One of the pre-requisites mentioned documents is the Invitation letter  from the friend. Its mentioned as 'Original' Invitation letter is needed.


Can someone confirm if an Original Invitation letter is needed or a scanned copy would be sufficient? I am travelling from Paris to Dublin.
