Winter let in Pylos

Hello,

We are trying to gather some info about Pylos & the surrounding area. We're hoping to spend 4 - 6 weeks in Pylos this winter.

We've spent part of the past 2 winters in the Pelion, Greece.... we enjoy walking & bird watching. We rented an apartment for 120 euros a week, including centralheating, electric & WIFI. This worked out well for both us and the owners, who were happy to have an unusual 6 week winters let

We're hoping it's possible to do the same thing in Pylos, but when searching the internet there seems to be a shortage of apartments to rent in the town. We won't have a car so we need to be in or close to town.

We'd really appreciate any info you could give to help us find something reasonable to rent. We'd need an oven, heating, somewhere quiet & with WIFI if poss. Or maybe you know someone who rents an apartment that might be suitable for us?

hi, yes, I do mean Pylos in southern Peloponnese.
Finikounda looks lovely, but its more a holiday (in season) destination I think. I think Pylos will be a bit more lively in the winter.
Still searching for a suitable apartment.
