Buying property in Peloponnese queries

Prices depend on location and quality of construction. There is no "black or white" way to know about prices. Your best bet would be to contact a realty agency, after you have assessed chosen location and other factors common everywhere in the world.  Check Google and you will find several real estate agencies advertising also in English.

@susanyarrow10 .  Try joining the facebook page "Peloponnese Living" which is very informative. Peloponessos is so much!  No one would know how to answer your question.  You can ski in the mountains and swim at the beach on the same day, and there are homes at both places- mountains and sea.  You can be at a UNESCO site at Mystras and hike and see no evidence of man in one afternoon, and there are homes nearby all of this.  There is urban and village as well.

So who knows what you want or would buy.  You are not just buying property, you are buying a location and a community.   Our Greek Village Cohousing community is not property, it is a very special type of very intentional community, so you are spending for a group of  people committed to socially connecting routinely and living more sustainably.  We have private homes but cook and eat together.  We love our area of the Taygetos foothills between Sparta and Gythio. We love the type of community that this land can hold- more multigenerational and diverse and Greek. 

We love our mountain agrihood near a city and a drive to the beach, but if you prefer a complete expat enclave, without as many Greeks in your community so to speak, and you don't like huge expanses of nature and mountain agrihoods like we do,  then you might prefer Kalamata on the sea. It is equally beautiful and different.  If you want swanky and luxurious and "exclusive," then you might like Costa Navarino.  If you want an underdog but really wonderful city - where you can drive into Europe easily or take the ferry to Italy and drive to Athens more easily- then perhaps Patras. The question as posed is too broad.  You need to come here and experience Peloponnesos first a bit.  You can check out our Greek Village Cohousing website as well if you like.

@susanyarrow10 Hi Susan, prices obviously depend on size, location,  condition, etc. but you should expect to spend, say, 150.000 upwards for a decent-sized place in good condition.
