yep everybody ! i'm a french guy and i'd like meet somebody to visit this large town and find some good shops and good places.
So to have a nice time here.
I'm living in altona, and i'm free because i'm in holidays !

Not a particular French name.

Anyway. Coming to Hamburg in wintertime is not the best thing to do. Short days and dull skies. Anyway, I found a website which might help you:

Otherwise it is a good idea to get to pubs. In my area (Winterhude) there are several pubs where morst people speak English. In my local (Profil in Gertigstrasse) the landlord speaks also French. I know that because we had French visitors last summer and he was able to communicate with them no problem.

Are you into football? If so you should get to a sportsbar:

Friday evening: Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bayern München
Sunday (15.30): Hamburger SV - Borussia Dortmund

I am pretty sure Sunday afternoon most sport bars will be very crowded. And if Hamburg wins the athmosphere will be electric. But make sure that you do not end in a bar where they support St. Pauli. They hate HSV (Hamburger Sport Verein).
