Sorry, sir, I have never contacted hospitals because, according to what I heard, the training in hospitals is only for general doctors  and not for dentists doctors !
I don't know if the information is correct or not ?

If you are not looking for hospitals any longer, then you should apply at clinics and private dental centers. Did you already do that?

I'm a second_year dentistry student in Turkey. I have IELTS 6.5 degree and my GPA is above 3.5. I'm looking for an internship program in Europe this summer but my first choice is German. I have sent dozens of emails to hospitals, clinics and universities but I couldn't find a proper one. could you please guide me how can I find a suitable one?

@aidaheydarzadeazar The most important issue is certainly language skills - after all, you need to be able to communicate with colleagues and patients! You did not mention it, but: How good is your German?

I have questions regarding internships in Germany.

Should I apply for universities or hospitals to enroll internships?

Are national board exams prerequisites for internships or I could enroll it with this degree here I will have.

I don't know exactly how internships are applied for but would assume through hospitals and clinics but universities with medical and/or dental programs have close relationships with certain ones. So either should be able to inform you where to apply.

But certainly one needs to pass national exams and all on a C1 level of German. All doctors need this level including dentists; to study, take exams or to work.

I don't know the details but I think they will demand one has recognized academic qualifications; meaning graduation from a recognized medical program. The ANABIN system is set up to make such judgements.

@Banno Bakhiet The requirements and expectations differ from clinic to clinic- soplease contact the ones(s) you are interested in. But generally they want German language skills good enough to converse with patients.

One has to have a recognized degree, pass the German dental medical exam (in German) and have a C1 level of German to be a dentist in Germany. Such degrees are 10 to 12 semesters and not just a bachelor. Good English is expected - but in addition not as an alternative. I wonder what non clinical fields after Bds one could do, that has a good acope in Germany too and has availability of scholarships too.

Since for getting lincence for practice, clearing german language  till c1 is a compulsion.

@A95091834 You addressed your qestion to me. But I am not from a medical background and have no idea even what "Bds" means. Tom above obviously knows a bit more, but still got it wrong. I am afraid you have to ask experts instead (maybe the student counsellor of the unoversity you want to enter?).

But I support Tom's statment that you need good German skills before coming here - even if your course is taught in English (which still is a minority, and usually costs more).

The link I provided above shows all of the dental related programs in Germany. That is what exists! No future in Germany in either a clinical or non-clinical setting without a C1 level of German in such a field.
