Looking for fellow expats from one’s home country is normal. They can give advice and maybe even assist someone who has already immigrated. But the idea that one will help you to actually immigrate or get work is only wishful thinking. One needs a legal basis having needed skills to get a work visa or academic credentials to study or marriage or family ties. The requirements for such things are on the German immigration authority website and have been discussed on numerous threads on this site. Anyone intending to immigrate to German should look at the actual requirements before relying on second hand information.

And if you are looking for people from Zimbabwe here then look under community, under members, and there you can search by country, nationality, age, immigration status and/or gender. I see at least 10 Zimbabweans listed and about an equal number of members showing intent to go to Germany. How active any of these might be is an open question but you have the possibility to directly message them.
