  Hi! Since Facebook isn't your thing, here are a few ideas. AVF (Accueil des Villes Françaises) has branches in Paris and welcomes newcomers, foreigners included, with outings, visits and conversation groups. Language exchange evenings like Franglish mix expats and Parisians. Paris Greeters offers free walks with volunteer locals who love their neighbourhood. And Meetup, like the event Bhavna shared, has plenty of museum and day trip groups. Bon courage!
