Hello ya'll,
My name is Leah. I am fixing to turn 50 and looking for a change. I am a licenced hairdresser for 20+ years and a commercial fishergirl for all my life. Any advice would be most appreciated. Retired now but willing to continue working or just enjoy French wines and cheeses the rest of my days.

Hi fishergirl,

Marseille is a nice city, there are lots of things to do! The weather is good, but it might get very cold in the winter, when the Mistral is blowing (I didnt know about it when I first came here)

I think you have to take a look at http://www.leboncoin.fr/ , there you can find everything, from rent prices to jobs offering, is a good way to see what the cost of life is in Marseille.
