Englishman in Marseille

Hello all,

my name is Rich and I've just moved to Marseille with my French girlfriend. She is working over in Joliette and I am job hunting and any advice for a guy with very very little French on finding employment would be most welcome.

I've just joined the site and it would be cool to meet up with some English people for a drink to talk about Marseille; living here and working here and sharing ideas and information. As I'm currently out of work, I'm free most of the time. My girlfriend gets the weekends off so I would probably be spending the weekends with her, but any time during the week would be excellent.

I am a 41 year old swede living in Marseille since a few years. Married to a french woman with 2 kids.

Are you still in Marseille?
Congratulations on your very nice snaps of Marseille.
The seaside and the districts by the sea are my favourites in Marseille.

We're an Anglo-French family.
I was born in Marseille but now live in the UK.
I come to Marseille regularly to visit my sister who lives there.
Am currently around until Sunday 09-08.
