Visitor coming from France in pandemic

Lanena1984

I've got new twins (born in December) and need support! My mother wants to come from France to help out and we are wondering what issues she may have on arrival in the UK given the current restrictions. Does anyone have any insights about that? Both coming from the French side and arriving in the UK
Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

The requirements are described on the French Embassy London website; this link will take you straight there.

Best of luck with your twins - ours are now 30 years old.

Hope this helps.

This may not be possible since we are not allowed to visit each other. It is POSSIBLE that your mother might be allowed to come to deliver 'essential care' but please check out whether this concession is available to you.

Again, if she entered the UK she would be required to self-isolate for ten days: you need to check whether she would be allowed to stay isolated in your house for this period or would need to book private accommodation elsewhere.
