Hi and welcome to the Forum.

It will tell you on the back of your permit whether you have any recourse to any support from Public Funds.  If it says "NO PUBLIC FUNDS" then it means exactly that and I'm not aware of any special Government programmes you can use.

Medicines are generally subject to a charge (£9.65 per item); there are exceptions to this rule, this link will take you to the UK Gov website with the details.

State Education is free of charge up to the age of 16 and further education may be available past this age; if you are interested in this, then I would go and ask at your local college as to what is available and if there is a charge.

A useful link may be the UK Citizens Advice Bureau; this link will take you straight to their website where you can read further.  This service is provided free of charge.

I hope this helps.
