MOVE TO PRAGUE IN 2019, HOW / WHERE CAN I SELL MY ART PRINTS?

Hello everyone, I'm Taiwanese live in France with my husband (he is french) and we will move to Prague in 2019.

I love to design and drawing, I'm wondering if I make the postcard, poster, bag or T-shirt, where can I sell in Prague?

I saw many people just sell on the street, where can I go to apply that?

or apply some artist market/ ask for gallery or gift shop if they can sell my product?

Do I need the licence to do that? If indeed, how can I get the licence? (I already have France resident visa for 2 years, in the future might just change to Czech)

Hello

Yes, as you already mentioned. There are many people selling their art in the street but is always difficult to find a spot to do it by your self since there are specific rules that are constantly changing, I think one of the rules to do it in the city center is that your art must be done on the spot

There are also small markets, fairs or festivals that you can join, usually getting in contact with an NGO will help you through the process

You can also contact a small gallery owner or design shop or even an alternative pub that would be glad to give you space to show your handmade craft.
