Can anyone tell me what documentation you need to take out to Cyprus if you are intending to view and possibly rent a property?

To rent property in Cyprus, you'll primarily need your passport/ID, proof of income/financial solvency, landlord references, and potentially a health certificate & criminal record check if applying for residency; the landlord provides the title deeds, utility payment proofs, and the official rental contract. A signed lease with witnesses (often two) and security deposit (1-2 months' rent) are standard.
