Using a washing machine

Hello,
We are an Italian couple and although we find all very tidy and clear here in Vienna, there's sumething that really puzzles us: how to use a washing machine?? We live ina block of apartments and there are some shared washing machines but we were told you can only use them with the function "Quick" of your credit card. We are not earning money here and it seems nonsense to open a bank account, that has obviously monthly expenses, just to do the washing!!
We asked in so many banks, post office, tabak, but none can provide this sort of card... moreover, from March 2017 it will be removed so there's no way to request it now!
How do you wash your clothes?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!

Try getting a prepaid VISA or Mastercard, such as this

Since it's prepaid, you shouldn't need to open an account.  You might search other card options depending on needs.  I find it unlikely that a bank would tell you they cannot offer a credit card, prepaid or otherwise

Prepaid credit cards don't have the "Quick" function on them. the "Quick" is only on debit cards,

You will have to find your nearest laundrette, every district has at least one and you pay with coins.
