Uber Eats delivery driver?

aprilragsdell

Hello. I am an American citizen hoping to relocate to Europe in the near future. My top preferences are UK, Sweden and Spain. Has anyone here moved to Europe to become a delivery driver (car, bike, scooter) for Uber eats, Foodora, Doordarsh, or other related companies? Is this an option worth pursuing?
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

In a nutshell, no.  You will need a work visa to work in all the countries you listed, you won't get one to be a delivery driver.

Hope this helps.

That is a personal choice. However as mentioned work visa will be an issue unless you come as a student and start to work part time during the first semester and eventually upgrade to work fulltime. In Sweden this job is done by bicycles and some even in the winter. As far as I can see it, it must be a very hard job compares to other jobs that possibly pay much more for less efforts.

Hi there

As Cynic says you will stand no chance for a visa in the UK as a delivery driver, even if you where to enter as a student, you are only permitted to work 16 hours in 7 days. The money you would earn may buy you a coffee........... and may be a donut
