Which EU countries are the best for IT jobs according to my skills?

GuestPoster2895

Hi all,

I'm willing to move to another EU country because I want to improve my English and also I want to learn a new culture...

Well,  I have been thinking a lot about what country would be the best for me because at first I was interested on the Netherlands but after seeing the lack of IT jobs in that country according to my skills and studies, I changed my mind and I tried to think about another EU country because in the NL, apparently, most jobs require you to have a Bachelor's Degree and I don't have that, I just have studied some vocational degrees on IT (they equal to a MBO, HBO in the NL and they are called "medium degree" and "higher degree" here in Spain).

So, I have checked how are the IT jobs in Dublin (Ireland) and I have found many that having a Bachelor's Degree is not mandatory. So, I'm considering Dublin as a great choice.

Anyway, I'm here to ask if someone know if there are other EU countries where there are available IT jobs according to my skills and studies, where having a Bachelor's degree is not mandatory for some jobs and also where I could get one with having nearly a B2 level on English.

Of course, I don't mind if the country has an official language that's not English, I'll try to learn it eventually but at least, the first years I will need to live by speaking English (mainly for getting a job).

Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Have you thought about Malta?

English is the official language, along with Maltese.

Have a look at the following job-seekers sites;
vacancycentre.com
keepmeposted.com.mt
jobsinmalta.com
konnekt.com

Just be aware that rents are quite high, expect €800 a month upwards.

To calculate your take home pay you can use this calculator;
maltasalary.com

Good luck

Well, I forgot to say that I prefer a country on the north as I love cold weather, I'm not into hot weather to be honest. So, between Malta and Ireland, I prefer Ireland. Thanks anyway!

English is the second language in Malta, Maltese is the official language.
