Cost of living in St. Kitts

Scellc1

I would like to know about the cost of living in St. Kitts.  I am in the US and thinking about relocating to St. Kitts within the next 9 months. What is the average cost per month for living in St. Kitts (food, transportation, renting, etc.).  Thank you.

I see this is an old post and you may already have your answers. But to answer your questions, a nice furnished 1 bedroom may run you 975-1200 USD in rent, this usually includes water.  Electric bill is of course based on consumption.  For a 1 bedroom with electric appliances (Washer, dryer, electric stove ect..)  and not running the Air conditioning (normally a split unit) may run you under 125EC/ 46.81US per month everyday usage of the AC may run you over 600EC/252.80US.  Groceries... are imported, thus more expensive than US stores however not too bad.  You can browse on 869 to go dot com (a local website similar to uber and Instacart) to get a better idea on cost of food.  1 USD is 2.67 EC.  Frigate bay would probably be the best area to live in as a newcomer since there are grocery stores within walking distance and near the beach that has several restaurants.
