Mold or mildew due to not living in Puerto Rico full time. Any suggestions on dealing with it? Usually happens from June to September when we don’t visit the condo .

The AC should be left running at about 72 degrees, 24/7, regardless if you are there. All windows/doors closed. You could distribute bags of DampRid where the mildew is the worst but with AC, you shouldn't need them.
72F? We freeze at 76F... I am also curious a
about mold. We have not had any problem yet but worried somewhat about leaving for few months. Also, what people do about it if they do not have a/c?
Run dehumidifiers constantly and have them drain from a hose. Home Depot has them. Or Amazon
Thank you
It's not about you. It's about arresting mold development. If you leave it at 76 in the summer, it will not be cold enough to overcome the mold when it's 90 degrees outside in the daytime. What do people do without AC? They live with the windows and doors open 24/7 for circulation but, if you visit them In the Sommer, you will notice the air feels 'wet' and the interiors smell slightly from the damp, especially during tropical rain.
Thank you
AC? I'm not being sarcastic at all, we were doing good to have electricity whenever we had bad weather. Its why we had a good generator, until it was stolen.
