Mayagüez relocation: guided tours & local help

I’m a senior citizen looking to relocate to Puerto Rico. I currently live in Austin, TX – a college town -- and appreciate the energy and open mindedness embedded in the culture. For that reason, I want to take a serious look at moving to Mayaguez. I would like to visit the city for about a week the 1st half of June, but need someone who speaks Spanish to show me around. What is the protocol for that? Are there people/firms who specialize in “Look-see” tours? If so, what do they charge?
