I'm looking at moving to Panama from the U.S. can anyone suggest a good/reputable bank to work with?

Banco General is the most popular. Panama has loads of banks. Most are reputable, but all charge fees for everything: an annual fee to use online banking, an annual fee for using the ATM, etc.

Banco General is my favorite. Make sure you don’t park backwards in front of the bank. lol

We have an account with Global Bank. We've been happy so far. Their fee for depositing a US check is only $10, the lowest I found amongst all the banks with branches in Boquete.
