A lot of this depends on if one needs to work or is on a pension. Any way the rules of engagement are totally different in Honduras. Fair play rarely exists, so whoever you are watch your wallet!

Good Advice.  Regardless of your financial status to most Hondurans your a millionaire.  Remember, your in a third world country where professional people make a small fraction of what they would make elsewhere.

Misconceptions might be that there is only Spanish in Honduras. Actually people speak English, Chorti, Garifuna and Miskito languages and dialects.
