How to gain residency in Honduras through marriage

My wife and I currently live in the U.S. She is a natural-born Honduran citizen. We are considering moving to Honduras. What would I need to do to obtain residency there. I do not want to try to get a new visa every 90 days. I would want to have permanent residency status. We have only been married for a few months (Married in Houston, TX 6/2024). Thank you for your advice.

You need to contact a local attorney that works on Imigration. Preferably one near the location you will be moving to.

Maje sure any property/vehículos  you buy is in your name only in the event things do not work out.  Honduran law will screw you in a divorce.  From my experience they will screw the gringo every time.  Good luck!!!
