Not yet but I am glad I held out I see prices are lower now and I am getting emailed on super low lot prices.

Two years ago you would get 18 lempira to the dollar (US).  Today its over 22 lempira to the dollar.

How would one go about finding a good builder in the southern part of Honduras?  I would like to build on the island of Isla del Tigre.  I've checked online and can't seem to find anything.

There isn't any. Only locals. Try looking online before a purchase😥.

Ok..... Try to find a foreigner that lives in that area and ask for suggestions. You may find an answer. If you have lots of time... Google your question and carry on.

Thanks, I do have some contacts in Honduras so all is not lost.  There are also a few foreigners who live on the island.  I'll be sure to pay them a visit next time I fly down.
