Moving to the capital and just curious to know how much utilities cost on average including high speed internet? Any expats living in Santo Domingo?

Planner can probably give you good estimates but it would help to know if you'll be in a house or apartment, the size of your dwelling, number of people, if you'll have AC, etc.

Yes I live in Santo Domingo.

Internet - I have a triple play bundle with high speed internet, full HD cable with lots of local and int stations (2 boxes) plus a land line. Cost about 65 us a month

Electricity is expensive so you want to manage consumption. With air conditioners you want energy efficient units. We don't use electric dryers. Use propane! Same with the stove - propane.
