You receive it into your US bank account and use your bank card here or wire it to an account here if you have one.

I dont believe SS will deposit your money into an international account.

I believe Planner is correct. I have mine put into my US account and bring in money as I need either by check to my local account or wire transfer.

They are correct. I use a local check cashing guy. He charges $3 off the top & gives you the full daily rate. You must be referred & present Your pass port. He is open 6 days a week. No muss, no fuss. The $3 fee is for any amount... If you are in the Sosua area, PM me for details.  So easy, fast & cheap.
