Buying furniture in Punta Cana

I did a 4 bedroom. Ikea and Ilumel (second floor). 

Hi,

what kind of price or range to furnish a 3 bedroom 3 bath penthouse for that area. Just need ballpark. The builder’s contractor quoted me $22,600.00 which I did not accept. I thought, the best thing is to use that money towards finish paying then once I have the property look to furnish it.

It's impossible to say how.much it will cost. It depends on your taste, quality level and how fast you may want to do it.

If you look up Corripio on the internet you can see different prices on appliances.

Illumel and illumel outlet both have websites so you can get an idea. 

Ikea has a website with pricing here!

Pricemart also has a website, take a look for TV's, appliances and small appliances!

Take a look at what's available and what your taste is! 

@plannerHi, I believe we spoke about a year ago through WhatsApp. I’ll try reaching out again because I think I may need the help after all. When we last spoke, we were already halfway through the project. I’ll also look into IKEA and some of the other options you recommended. At the time, I honestly thought I could do a better job than the contractors myself.

Since we are talking furnishing a home.  Is there any stores like a Walmart or a one stop type store that you can buy dish sets, pots and pans,  bath towels and what not which don't cost a arm leg?

Jumbo has a nice selection of dishes , silverware , and toiletries for people who are just beginning

Your best bet for that would be Jumbo, one of their larger stores.  La Sirena is also an option.

That’s what I am talking about half of what I was quoted and the ones who went with the builder the building will have units with same stuff not unique. Let me know how we connect

And then there’s also Almacenes Unidos (pricier but they have good warranties) and IKEA for some things. I always get my bath mats at IKEA.

Great links. Remember to compare the same quality not just price. Anything at the Chinese store is going to be lower end!  It always depends what you are looking for!   And don't get me wrong I have definitely bought things at the Chinese stores.  They have unique inexpensive decor.
