Buying a used golf cart white sand area

We finally have our home here and i am looking at maybe getting a used golf cart to run around in the community, take grandkids to beach etc. not out on main roads. Few questions

1: Does anyone have any contacts or know of any for sale in white sands area?

2: If i buy a used cart can i use it also on golf course, do you register it to use on them, ets? Any info from fellow golfers would be great.

3: i have read on forums don't need insurance, etc. but is there anything else?

Sorry I can't help other than to suggest talking to your local golf course there. They should know the rules and who may be selling a golf cart.
