Does anyone know what REAL  % commision Remax Agents normally make off a Sale in DR? I was told different conflicting numbers and think some are trying to take advantage…

@Bellaluminosaco To what I know when I bought a house here it is 5%.  However, it is not a law and always negotiable.

@rgwsf  You paid 5% when purchasing your home?  Or the seller paid 5%?  Here, much like most other places, the seller pays the commission, and at least on the North Coast, it can be 10%, but I've never seen 5%.
