Tropical storm Franklin

planner

In Santo Domingo the storm has hit hard. Hundreds have been evacuated and many will lose everything.

In Bani, Baharona and area they have been hammered. Lots and lots of damage to farms. Expect produce costs to rise short term!

This storm isn't strong but it's full of rain and it's moving very slowly.

Everyone stay safe

Stay safe everyone. I've seen a lot of videos already with SO much flooding in some of the barrios and in SD Este. Very sad. Hopefully Franklin will be gone soon!

It's close to leaving the country. Still lots of clouds and rain in various parts of the country!

Glad its gone now, and the damage was minmal given it could have caused so much destruction in Santo Domingo where so many live.  Could have been alot worse.  Are all utilities working now?
