Carry (Flowers) / Ship (Treadmill) from USA to DR?

Hello to one and all on expat.com!

I will soon be traveling back to the DR.

I would much appreciate any help that can be provided.

I am wondering if I can carry boxed flowers from the USA to DR without any issues?

Also I have a need to get a piece of exercise equipment (Treadmill) from our home in SC, USA to our Santiago, DR home. Can anyone provide an economical method?

Flowers may be difficult. Many countries do not want agricultural items brought in due to disease and hidden pests. You should reach out to one of the DR consulates. Washington DC is probably closest to you.

Shipping can be pretty easy, but you’ll likely have to ship it first to a DR shipper. We used Montero Shipping out of Miami Gardens. They were professional and hassle free. The piece will be delivered right to your door.
