Why do so many people leave Costa Rica after moving there?

I was thinking to move to Costa Rica, but I changed my mind after I read about your experience there.

It is hard to adapt to another culture.

Dude... Probably good that you made a decision to not move here from ONE post... and that you ignored all of the MANY positive posts.  Better to stay where your half empty glass has ample company... and not down here where our glasses are ALWAYS more than half full because we're so friggin happy to be here... where we won't die in a mass shooting, or have foreign terrorists fly airplanes into buildings, or have to sit by and watch a turd run for president and, UGH!!! could possibly win.

Pura Vida at you!   Oh, and Thanks!! for not coming down here.   Enjoy wherever (but you probably won't like it there either.)

@Ziminar i know this is an old post, but I was wondering if you were still in Uvita? I have visited twice and love it there! Planning a move at some point I hope!
