Hello all! I’m interested in sending my shipping container with my household goods from the US to Placencia, as in the port of Independence/Mango creek.
Has anyone done so (relatively) recently? Looking for recommendations for a good local broker.
And any tips for do/don’t, lol

Also, does anybody know of a shipping company that goes there from the US? I’m in Texas, so Houston would be greatly preferred, but Mobile is also doable.

big creek has recently been dredged, and can now take container ships, however few shippers are even aware there is alternative to belize city..I suspect it will be middle of next year before general shipping uses Big Creek.

MCW out of Mobile used to ship to Big Creek but not sure if they still do. It is who I was going to use, but I heard they were not shipping there any longer. You might call them.
